I discovered failblog last year as an orientation leader. And the whole time I was stifling cry laughter. As I am right now with Engrish funny. Holy crap.

I hear the weather's nice. Too bad I'm exhausted from lack of caffeine and am staring at it through glass.

I had a Cinnamon Toast Crunch milk & cereal bar. Cinnamon Toast Crunch is my second favorite cereal of all-time (next to Corn Chex). And looking at the ingredients, it is an allergy nightmare. "Contains wheat, milk, soy, peanut, sunflower and almond ingredients'. That sucks. Too bad I'm only allergic to cephalosporins and outdoor shit.

I really dislike listening to the adult soft rock contemporary morning shows because they always ALWAYS play the same songs every morning. Fergie's 'Big Girls Don't Cry'. Something by Nickelback. 'Don't Stop Believin' (my favorite, of course). And usually Berlin's 'Take My Breath Away' and/or Steve Winwood's 'Higher Love'. It's like listening to a really bad playlist over and over again. Because it is. But this time I can't delete it off my iTunes. And it's on repeat.

Why do they call secretaries 'administrative specialists' now? Sorry, you're still a secretary. It was like when I worked a medical place and faxed papers. They called me a transcription assistant. No, I was a paper faxer.

Right now two of my bosses are interviewing people to ultimately replace me. I'm moving on from the admissions office because, well, I need to. Girl's got to grow up some time. So I can pretty much do what I want until they return.
Male Coworker - Did you know our engineering school is ranked lower than Adrian?
Me - (pauses without looking away from computer screen) No.
MCW - That's so bad because we always talk about how good our engineering school is and... (mutters to himself).
When I have free time I check Facebook, my e-mail, read Tucker Max, whatever. What I do NOT do is research stupid mindless shit like he does. Do I care that Eastern and Central probably have better education programs? No. Because I don't go there. Nor have I wanted to. Maybe this would be more relevant and I'd be less pissed if he was less stupid. Often times I feel like I'm working with a nerdy male Bangs. Later he proceeded to call an academic unit, tell them that their AP equivalency sheet is wrong and got into a minor disagreement with our boss when he was told not to do that anymore. Thursdays from 8 to 1 are the bane of my existence.

Do not call and say 'Hi how are you' and, without skipping a beat, continue on with your sentence. You don't care how I'm doing and I don't want to say it, so skip it altogether.

I dislike the remixed version of Taylor Swift's 'Love Story'. Leave well enough alone.
