Wikipedia for Knowledge!

Maybe it's just me...but I think it's ridiculous that, on my class syllabus, my readings are often Wikipedia entries. Granted it's a hell of a lot better than purchasing a book I never plan on reading, is that not a professor's nightmare, a user-edited encyclopedia? Not that I wouldn't have found my way to the article anyway. I love Wikipedia. Monday I was looking at an article on Martha Washington. Next thing I know, I'm looking up the Holocaust. And typhus. Typhus!

Dave got his wisdom teeth taken out yesterday. It was kind of a fast thing. He went in for the consult and next thing you know 'Surgery's scheduled Wednesday.' Holy crap. Lucky guy got to be put under. I visited him yesterday. He was a bit bitchier than normal. Understandably so. But he could have shut the door as he was washing his mouth out with hydrogen peroxide. No one needs to see a red waterfall being spewed.

I always have a fascination with the Cougar lifestyle. So when I heard on the radio (at work, the only time I ever listen to the radio) that in April, TV Land is hosting "The Cougar", I needed to find out what this was. It's essentially "The Bachelor" but with, of course, an older lady and hot young guys. Who wants to watch this show with me? I have a growing need for trashy tv in my life and I am all about getting a loyal following for the show.
